The Alliance for National Transformation ANT presidential candidate Rt. Maj. Gen. Mugisha Muntu has strongly condemned the act of arresting NUP presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi.
Muntu says the act was reckless, uncalled for and if Kyagulaanyi had committed a crime he would have been called by authorities that is; the Electoral Commission and the Police honourably.
He says such acts show that the regime is desperate and possessed with power.
Today afternoon NUP presidential Candidate Kyagulanyi was arrested in Luuka district as he was going to address a rally from where he was brutally arrested and taken to Nalufenya which has sparked off country wide demonstrations bringing businesses at stand still.
