Members of Parliament have joined sections of the public with optimistic mind on what will be presented in the state of the nation address.

The East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) representative, a member of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) Michael Sebalu expects President Yoweri Museveni to inform the country on how far he has gone with the implementation  of  the 2016/2021 NRM manifesto in as far as  service delivery, infrastructure and fighting corruption are concerned.

The Bunya East Constituency MP James Majegere says the president should address on the progress of solving the high commodity prices, SIM card registration and security in the country especially that people are disappearing in a mysterious ways across the country.

However, the Kawempe South Constituency MP Mubarak Munyagwa challenges the President to change his nation address speech saying for years, they have been similar.

On Tuesday May 5th will be the second state of National Address by H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni after the 2016 general elections.
