There is a low tempo in most parts of the country as the country sees the swearing in of President Museveni for his 6th term.

Most people have stayed home in respect to the public holiday announced by the government in honour and ensuring smooth swearing in of President Museveni.

Last evening police and other security agencies renewed strictness on the observance of the night curfew, boda bodas suffered the rough of this order as by 6pm those who were still on the road were impounded as well as other motorists who did not have genuine reasons to be on the road.

Some of members of the public Radio Sapientia has reached say they are not party to the swearing in of President Museveni because they are not among the invited 4000 guests who are attending the ceremony at Kololo.

Many say the economic hardship mainly caused by the Covid-19 pandemic cannot allow them to cerebrate.

Military personnel have been deployed at all major road junctions in Kampala City and its suburbs on top of the motorized and foot patrols to provide security but also to observe any elements with divergent mind to today’s function of swearing in of President Museveni.
