The National Unity platform (NUP) leader, Robert Kyagulanyi has condemned the ongoing illegal arrest of people in the country by security forces using Drone cars.

Mukono and Kampala districts have faced the most cases of people reportedly gone missing by either armed men in military uniform or plain clothes arrest them using drone vehicles.

Kyagulanyi says that it’s like government has returned to illegal acts of picking up people indiscriminately especially supporters of NUP and detain them in unknown places’_ subject them to torture similar to what the previous regimes used to do.

Kyagulanyi says such acts of gross human rights violation should be condemned in strongest terms possible urging his supporters to be vigilant.

Meanwhile Kyagulanyi has distanced himself from allegations accusing him of having ordered the public to harm NBS TV workers, saying his intention in his post about the matter was to ask television owners to come out and apologize to the country over what he has termed as unprofessional broadcast of the “fake” results of 2021 presidential election results.
