The National Unity Platform (NUP) presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine has Monday filed the presidential election petition No.1 2021 in the Supreme Court challenging the results of presidential elections that declared President Kaguta Museveni as the winner.

Kyagulanyi through his lawyers led by Medard Lubega Ssegona has highlighted 3 respondents who include president Museveni, the electoral commission and the Attorney General.

While speaking to media Ssegona has revealed that they have been in hiding because the respondents wanted to steal their documents they are to use against them in court but luckily enough they are now in court ready for the battle of brains in the election case challenge.

He has added that whether Museveni hides they will look for him and serve him regardless of anything because he has to file a response for the matter to proceed.

In the final 2021 presidential elections report released last week by the EC Chairman Justice Simon Byabakama, President Museveni polled 6,042,898 votes representing (58.38%) while Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu polled 3,631,437 votes representing (35.08%) which he challenges.
