Eighteen of the 21 Kapchorwa Bus accident victims have been identified as employees of the National Cooperation of Business Association Cooperation League of USA (NCBA CLUSA).

The Head of Communications NCBA CLUSA Bosco Wotulo disclosed to the media on Wednesday in Kapchorwa that the deceased are Sylvia Acheng, Justus Tumwesigye, Farouk Adam, Joseph Odoi, Gloria Ruth Oweta,

Others are Robert Bills Okello, Sandra Akullo, Linda Acheing, Dona Sekitoleko, Nelson Agatu, Noelin Gwebalibaya, Oliver Okello, Judith Nakigoye, Ruth Kawadiny, Muheirwe Gloria Balungi, Rita Bukirwa, and Jacob Kintu.

Two other people who died in the accident are Jamil Rajab and Boniface Mande, both tour guides from Kaseremu tours.

Wotulo explains that the NCBA employees died in line of duty since they had traveled to Mbale for a retreat to plan for new projects seeking to empower youths.

The NCBA employees and three others died last evening when a bus belonging to Kiryandongo technical institute registration number UG 2833E they were traveling on board lost control while descending Tewei hill in Sippi Town council in Kapchorwa along Kapchorwa-Sironko road and overturned.
