The Kabaka of Buganda Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II has called for resilience amongst all people in the country as they strive for the better life in the New Year 2024.

In his Christmas message read by his brother, Prince David Wasajja at Lubaga Cathedral during the Christmas Eucharistic celebrations, Kabaka Mutebi said it’s a known fact that there are wrong elements fighting the Kingdom and its plans but such people should not destruct those leading the Buganda’s growth and development.

The Kabaka has on several occasions been cautioning his subjects against some of Buganda’s enemies plotting to destroy the Kingdom and others that are mostly using social media and other media outlets to sabotage plans Buganda.

To the youths, the Kabaka said they must face the daily challenges with soberness but also should respect their culture, values and norms in order to have human dignity.

He says Challenges and achievements in the year ending 2023 should be a stepping stone to greater heights in the New Year 2024.

Kabaka Mutebi encouraged Ugandans to grow enough food and crops to support their families for income generation but also protect the environment.
