The Youth activism group the Jobless Brotherhood has announced an exercise where they are to profile all cases of abuse committed by the boda boda 2010 motorcyclists led by the detained Abdullah Kitata.

In a press conference held at their offices at city house in Kampala, the group Assistant Spokesperson Robert Mayanja says they had caused mayhem to fellow motorcyclists with impunity given their connection to some security operatives especially the police.

Mayanja applauded the Security Minister Lt. Gen. Henry Tumukunde for his resilience to fight criminality and they are now ready to take opportunity of getting jobs as boda boda riders.

The group’s lawyer Isaac Ssemakadde said they also want parliament to force the resignation of Inspector General of police (IGP) Gen.Kale Kayihura over his support to a criminal group.

Meanwhile, the leaders of National Crime Preventers Forum (NCPF) through their deputy coordinator Brian Mauso have engaged the Kampala Metropolitan Police commander, Frank Mwesigwa over their security after receiving anonymous letters threatening to attack them within 14 days if they do not denounce loyalty to the Inspector General of Police, Gen Kale Kayihura in 14 days or be attacked.
