Brian Bagyenda a son to ISO director colonel Kaka Bagyenda and two others have appealed against the Conviction and 32 year Sentence that was awarded to them for murdering a student of Ndejje University.

Bagyenda, Innocent Bainomugisha a Cleaner and Vincent Rwahwire were last month found guilty for murdering Enid Twijukye who was Bagyenda’s girlfriend and sentenced to 32 years imprisonment by Highcourt judge Moses Kazibwe

However, through their lawyers of Nsubuga Mubiru and Company Advocates they have proceeded to court of appeal claiming not to be satisfied with the lower court decision.

Justice Kazibwe while sentencing the trio in February ,  he noted that  basing on 16 Prosecution witnesses, Twijukye’s death was unlawful since it was never sanctioned by the law  adding that there was malice aforethought.

prosecution alleged that the trio on the 4th/01/2017 while at Njobe road in luzira Nakawa division at Brian’s home committed an offense of murdering Enid and after dumped her body in Namanve forest where it was later recovered by police.
