The Gomba west member of parliament Robinah Rwakoojo has today declared her interest to contest for the deputy speaker of parliament for the 11th parliament.
Rwakoojo who was accompanied by fellow legislators like Entebbe Municiplaity Mp Rose Mary Tumusiime, Kaberamaido county Mp Veronica Eragu, Mp representing persons with disabilities eastern region Asamo Helen and the Kasambya county mp elect David Kabanda says that she has the necessary experience to serve parliament in that capacity.
She says besides her time in parliament her experience from the ministry of justice will enable her serve members of parliament very well.
Rwakoojo says that if elected she plans to enhance debating skills of mps, improve the welfare of mps and also promote a good working relationship with the three arms of government.
