Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Robert Kyagulanyi, aka Bobi Wine has lashed at what he calls state sponsored detractors to the struggle of liberating this country.
In his address a while ago at National Unity Platform NUP head offices at Kamwokya Kyagulanyi has claimed that since 2000 when members of the struggle like Retired Col. Dr. Kizza Besigye came out to challenge President Museveni, the state support a purported People’s Redemption Army (PRA) rebel group linked to Dr. Besigye to suffocate him which rebel group disappeared in thin air.
He has no fear for people like Male Mabirizi who has been state sponsored to witch-hunt him hiding in his demand to know the age and academic documents of Hon. Kyagulanyi authenticated through courts of law.
Male Mabirizi recently told journalists that Kyagulanyi’s documents availed to him by the Electoral Commission used for nomination in the Kyadondo East by-election indicate that the legislator was born in 1982 yet his Makerere University transcript shows he was born in 1980.
Kyagulanyi has said that he was born on February 10th, 1980 in Nkozi and there is no way he can change his age or academic study period. He has confirmed to Ugandans that despite all the maligning, character assassination and intimidation he will stay focused for Ugandans.
As Hon. Kyagulanyi address the press on his age and academic line their colleague a local radio political show host Basajja Mivule was announcing his turn to join the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) while at Eureka Hotel in Ntinda before a renown Events Promoter Balaam Barugahare.
Mivule lambasted Kyagulanyi and his group for being reckless, tribalistic and behaving like hooligans. Mivule was before a critic of the government and many allege that he was bought with huge sums of money after meeting President Museveni.
