The Kilak North Member of Parliament, Anthony Akol has survived an accident in which his car a Prado TX with his driver Felix Ongora knocked a cow along Kafu River in Nakasongola district along Kampala- Gulu highway at around 1:00 am.

Akol who is also the shadow Minister of Finance and his driver were rushed to Kiryandongo hospital, but have been now transferred to International Hospital of Kampala (IHK) for further examination.

According to Kilak South MP Gilbert Olanya, the MP is complaining of terrible chest pain but is reportedly out of danger.
