His Grace Ssemogerere celebrates 1st Anniversary as Kampala Archbishop

The Archbishop of Kampala His Grace Paul Ssemogerere has implored public servants to exercise professionalism for the country to benefit from their skills, knowledge and services.

During a thanks giving Eucharistic celebration on Wednesday afternoon at Lubaga Cathedral to mark the 1^st anniversary as the Archbishop of Kampala, His Grace Ssemogerere said service above self is lacking leaving gaps in the implementation of the pillars of the fundamental change in Uganda.

He says it’s necessary for Ugandans especially workers to observe the systems and policies or rule of law as required per the tenets of a democratic county.

He expressed appreciation to God and all those who have supported him to serve as a shepherd in the Archdiocese of Kampala for the last one year.

The first anniversary celebrations coincided with the day that the Catholic Church celebrates the feast of the Conversion of St. Paul the Apostle.

Archbishop Ssemogerere who has just concluded a full week of Prayer for the Christian Unity, asked believers to work for cohesion in spite of the difference in denominations.
