The Archbishop of the Church of Uganda Most Rev. Stephen Kaziimba Mugalu has encouraged the faithful to desist fighting for earthly things that are perishable but instead yearn for heavenly things.
This was while delivering his sermon for Easter Service at the All Saints Cathedral Nakasero today.
Dr Kaziimba says people are currently focusing more in grabbing lands with fake land titles, engaging in corruption tendencies and all sorts of sins which are perishables and limit them from accessing heavens.
He notes that with Jesus’ resurrection, Christians are supposed to reunite with Him by ensuring that all their weaknesses which are counted as sins are stopped.
Archbishop Kaziimba ensures that once people reunite with Christ, they are guaranteed of the Kingdom of Heaven.
