The Resident District Commissioner for Luweero Richard Bwabye has revealed that the joint security team investigating a deadly attack on Buliisa Police Station is making headway in pursuit of the thugs but the incident is treated as a rebel activity.

At round 7.30pm last evening, a group of armed assailants shot and killed two police officers on duty Moses Wagaluka and Alex Ongolo.

The attackers also injured two others PCs Ochom Adrian and Odama Stephen after they robbed two guns.

Now RDC Bwabye, also the chairman of the district security committee, says they have registered clues which they believe will help them in the ongoing manhunt for the thugs.

RDC Bwabye has called for calm and patience from the concerned populace adding that they spent the fateful night combing villages as they also spread dragnets to net the suspects which needs just some little time to have a conclusive chase.
