Fr. James Kabuye credited for his Musical works

The Catholic Church has credited the Musical works of Rev. Fr. Dr. James Kabuye who is today celebrating 60 years in priesthood.

At a function held at St Noah Mwaggali Kiyinda Mityana cathedral parish the preacher of the day Fr Charles Lugenda, who is the dean of Kasanda Deanery has praised the Catholic Church Musical Composer Fr. Kabuye for utilizing his talent to evangelize.

The Jubilarian who is also celebrating 88 years of age is said to have inspired many to join priesthood, music composers especially Catholic Church music right from his time at St Mary’s National Major Seminary Ggaba as a formatter.

Fr James Kabuye was ordained priesthood on 23rd of December 1963.

This thanksgiving mass has been attended by among other dignitaries Rt. Rev. Dr Joseph Antony Zziwa the ordinary of Kiyinda Mityana, priests and religious.
