Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) has appealed to government to prioritize the health sector in the next financial year.

The FDC Deputy Spokesperson John Kikonyogo told the press at the party headquarters in Najjanankumbi that it’s disheartening for the whole country to lack a public hospital that can treat fatigue which left the Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga flown to Nairobi for treatment.

Kadaga who is reported to be steadily improving at the Aga Khan hospital in Nairobi was transferred from Nakasero Hospital on Saturday morning where she was admitted on Thursday over fatigue when she returned from trips in New York, USA and Rabat, Morocco according to her Principal Private Press Secretary Sam Obbo.

Kikonyogo says it would be wise that government released the Shs34 billion required by the ministry of health to complete the construction of Mulago hospital.
