The opposition forum for Democratic change (FDC) has refuted allegations that its party officials are not behind their flagger barer Apollo Kantinti candidature in the forthcoming Kyadondo East by-elections.
Addressing the media at the party headquarters in Najjanankumbi, FDC Deputy Spokesperson Paul Mwiru says they are fully behind Kantiti after he was trusted with the party card for that post.
Media has been circulating information that the FDC Secretary General Nathan Nandala Mafaabi is not behind their candidate.
The second day of Kyadondo East MP nominations was marred with pockets of violence after supporters of one of the candidates roughed up Mafabi over the party’s flag.
Mwiru however, calls upon all party members in Kyadondo East to rally behind their candidate to take again his post.
