The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) has launched its 3rd Party Strategic Plan for the years 2022-2027 as a tool to fight poor governance in Uganda.

The FDC President Patrick Oboi Amuriat says this plan aims at mobilizing ordinary people to stand up in unity and throw out the corrupt and oppressive NRM Government, which runs the country as if it were a personal estate.

Amuriat adds that this strategic plan is to first build, consolidate and expand FDC popular support base to win state power, develop functional, decentralized party structures, membership recruitment, win and defend election victories among others.

He has disclosed that for the first 3 months it is going to be given to District FDC leaders for proposals on additions or omissions before it is put into action.

The plan has 10 strategic objectives among which include; Rebuild and Restructure the party Secretariat, build, strengthen and secure party leaders, members and assets, build partnerships with other democracy seeking forces and organizations.
