Forum for Democratic change Katonga faction disassociates from actions of members of parliament sitting at Najjanankumbi who are against the decision of the opposition regarding the continued violation of human rights and disappearance of 18 supporters of the National Unity platform.

The Leader of opposition in parliament led by Mathias Mpunga agreed not to return to plenary sittings until government responds to their demands.

But 3 members of parliament from the opposition Forum for democratic change sitting at Najjanankumbi led by the secretary general Nathan Nandala Mafabi, treasurer general Geoffrey Ekanya and Hon. Yusuf Nsibambi returned to parliament and this is against the collective decision of boycotting plenary by opposition.

Now speaking to the press at Katonga the interim leadership of FDC sitting at Katonga led by the FDC chairman Waswa Birigwa and the treasurer general Francis Mwijukye noted that the actions of these FDC members is a clear indication that they work with the oppressor who continues to mistreat Ugandans and it shows that they are inhuman towards other Ugandans.

They now want the opposition disciplinary committee to take action towards these members.
