Ugandans have been challenged against politicizing Covid-19 basing on the way it has affected the western world and Uganda.
The Medical Director of Rugaga Hospital Dr. Andrew Sekitoleko says although the type of Coronavirus that affected China, Europe and other areas might be different to what is in Uganda, it remains dangerous to humanity.
Uganda currently has lost 99 people, with a cumulative case number of 11,163 and recoveries are now 7,263. However just on Saturday Oct. 24th over 140 new cases were reported almost from all regions showing the virus has spread further to almost all parts of the country.
He re-emphasises the need for all Ugandans to observe the SOPs because the road to having a vaccine is still far. And even when it is gotten it cannot be the same vaccine since the virus is ever changing.
Dr. Sekitoleko also encouraged Ugandans to use fruits so much and try to eat well to keep the body strong.
