While presiding over plenary sitting this Monday, Among said that Parliament agreed to have only 20% staff working daily but in shifts and later to release the programme indicating the attendances for MPs at each sittings.

Among also says that there are ongoing consultations on how parliament will perform its duties during this pandemic and this soon will be communicated.

Among also led parliament in paying tribute to prominent people including former members of parliament and the public that have succumbed to COVID-19 recently.

Meanwhile, Amongi has urged members of parliament to follow up on the resolution that was passed by the last parliamentary sitting to distribute hoes to households as a way to promote agriculture.

Among says that the hoes have been delivered at different districts where each household is supposed to receive two hoes and has urged members of parliament follow up on this matter so that their district do not miss out like it was on the masks.
