Chameleon targets to recruit One Million new members in DP in his first year of work

Singer Joseph Mayanja known as Dr Jose Chameleon has disclosed his first political target as the Democratic Party (DP) National Mobilizer to recruit One Million new party members countrywide in the first 12 months of work.

Chameleon was declared the Chief Mobiliser of the Uganda’s oldest political party just moments after him being unveiled as the DP member at Nsambya Sharing hall early this month.

Addressing the media at DP headquarters in Kampala, Chameleon said that he intends to mobilize the youths and women to join the party since they are the first time voters.

He further requests DP President General Norbert Mao to again entrust him to be the party’s Chief mobilize globally because he feels fit for the job and all Ugandans who want to cause change in Uganda.

However, Chameleon challenges those alleging that he would return to the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM), saying he will never betray his parents.
