Hundreds of people have turned up to witness while Centenary Bank unveils the newly introduced Cente Mobile Loan service at Kalerwe today.
Cente Mobile Loan is a new product that was launched recently at Mapeera house that only requires clients to access loans via their mobile phones once they are subscribed to Centenary Bank.
The Centenary Bank Sales Manager Financial Inclusion Yusuf Kalumba Kasule explains that the motive of starting the campaign at Kalerwe is because it’s one of the most populated areas with busy people who can be further assisted to manage their finances with this product.
There are three categories of those who can get the mobile Cente Loan those servicing a loan, salary earns and daily savers with centenary bank.
Revelers and clients celebrated the service and many registered to re-activate their accounts that had been dormant for some time since Centenary Bank has eased them in accessing loans.
On Friday April 27, the Centenary Bank team will be at Nakawa town center at midday to unveil the same service to the residents and then to Ntinda.
