The Chairman Uganda Episcopal conference Rt. Rev. Joseph Antony Zziwa has advised Centenary Bank workers to work with integrity and desist from miss management of people’s money to help Centenary bank stay for years.
In his speech as the guest of honor during the launch of 4 months cerebrations of 40 years of existing for Centenary bank Bishop Zziwa who is also the ordinary of Kiyinda Mityana diocese said Centenary Bank has lived for 40 because workers have exhibited, hard work, integrity and professionalism within the principals of Catholic church.
Bishop Zziwa adds that Centenary Bank aims to be the number one bank serving all Ugandans and beyond but this must be achieved by keeping values and norms of the banking sector in the modern world with strict observance of the Catholic norms to win public trust.
Centenary Bank 40 years of existing and Transforming lives is going to be cerebrated for 4 months across the entire country, educating Ugandans about the goodness of keeping their Money in the Bank and protection of the environment among others.
Meanwhile Gustavo Bwochi the Board chairman of Centenary Bank said since 1983 when Centenary Bank was founded it has faced alot of challenges but survived because it is guarded by the Religious values and norms on which its Vision, Mission and Values stand.
The function was held on 10th June 2023 at St. Augustine’s Institute Nsambya where the Bishops are in their annual plenary.
