Ugandans have been challenged to dedicate enough time for their work and be passionate about their jobs in order to obtain perfection and experience that lead to quality service delivery.

Currently, Uganda is grappling with high levels of unemployment especially among the youth mainly due to lack of employable skills and the spirit to offer service.

The Parish Priest of Mpala Catholic Church in Kampala Archdiocese, Rev Fr Joseph Kirumira while leading the Mass at Lubaga Cathedral for the celebrations of the Feast of Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska of the Divine Mercy, cited Sr. Faustina who loved her job of a chef that through it, she served the convent with the whole commitment before she become a religious sister.

Fr. Kirumira says that female Christians deserve to emulate Sr. Faustina so that they become reliable at their places of work.

The Priest also noted with concern the continued violation of children’s rights in the country, the deed that is contrary to Sr. Faustina’s lifestyle since she was a person who advocated for peace, love and justice in the communities.

Sr. Maria Faustina Kowalska was a Polish nun who loved Jesus and later published the Diary of the Divine Mercy of Jesus explaining God’s desire for Justice and peace and the day is celebrated on every October 5.
