This is the 4th day for the general campaigns since they started on Monday for all the candidates standing for the parliamentary, presidential and local government leaders all conversing for votes in their respective electoral areas and all over the country.

Campaigns will be concluded on January 12th 2021 and elections conducted on January 14th 2021 for the Parliamentary and Presidential candidates.

President Yoweri Museveni of the NRM is in Arua followed by Moyo tomorrow and later Gulu, Robert Kyagulanyi of the National Unity Platform is in Oyam, Apach and Lira, Patrick Amuria of FDC is in Kalaki and Kaberamaido Mugisha Muntu of ANT is in Rwampara and Mitooma. The only lady in the race Nancy Kalembe is officially launching her campaigns today in Jinja at Kakindu Stadium while other independents, Henry Tumukunde is in Ntungamo, John Katumba in Zombo, Fred Mwesigye in Kampala, Joseph Kabuleta is in Pakwach while Willy Mayambala is in Gombe.

The spokes persons of the NRM party Rogers Mulindwa says President Museveni is fully observing the SOPs set to safeguard Ugandans against Coronavirus in all his campaigning areas but expressed worry over the spirit of defiance exhibited by other presidential candidates who are pulling crowds and defacing of their posters.
