Bodaboda riders under the 34 SACCOs attached to KCCA Division Bodaboda Riders and Agro Traders Cooperative Society have cried out to government to inject more 500 million shillings into their Emyooga SACCO projects.

This is after the cooperative received 30 million shillings under the Emyooga fund to facilitate their development and increase on their incomes by having boda boda riders saving and borrowing from the fund.

Alfred Kakuya the society’s Chairperson told journalists in Kampala that they received the Emyooga money and have started borrowing it to their members under the cooperative through their associations.

Sam Magoola, the Chairman Bukesa Bodaboda B SACCO believes that once this money is properly utilized, many bodaboda riders will benefit from the project and improve their livelihood.
