The Chairman Uganda Episcopal Conference Rt. Rev. Bishop Dr Joseph Anthony Zziwa has under scored the relevance of education in the development of the society and the country at large.

 

Bishop Zziwa who is also the ordinary of Kiyinda Mityana diocese says the developed world has been largely facilitated by an elite society that innovates and supports findings through research which is still a big challenge in the developing world.

 

He made the remarks at the celebration of the diocesan education week that is ending today at Kiyinda- Mityana Cathedral adding that education should promote an all round person in the mind, body and soul to avoid a society that is empty of God.

 

Students from Various schools within the diocese have presented what they learn ending with a music festival aimed at promoting talent.
