The Archbishop of Tororo Dr. Emmanuel Obbo has noted with concern the recent incidents in the country which he says Christians must lead in finding solutions for the safety of live for all.
Archbishop Obbo says a number of cases that threaten life, challenge freedom and livelihood of many Ugandans hence a need for a broader mind to find a better solution.
He made the statement during the Eucharistic celebration for the catholic community of Tororo archdiocese living in Kampala metropolitan area held at Ntinda parish in Kampala.
He said amidst all such challenging experiences in life, people have to pray to God for wisdom and for protection.
His statement comes after the Makerere Universtiy students strike that saw many of them brutally handled by the security personnel.
