The Chairman of the National Resistance Movement Electoral Commission, Dr. Tanga Odoi has laughed at and identified the newly launched Maj. Gen. Mugisha Muntu’s Alliance for National Transformation (ANT) as a Cosmetic Non Government Organization (NGO) that can’t obtain power.

While at the Commission’s headquarters in Kampala releasing the roadmap for the party primaries of forthcoming Nebbi district chairperson and other lower positions, Tanga says that ANT is just filler that can’t threaten NRM.

Last week, Gen. Muntu marked his new era as an opposition politician when he launched his ANT party after having broken away from the Forum for Democratic Change following years of internal bickering that culminated into his defeat by the current FDC President Patrick Amuriat in last year’s polls.

However, Dr Tanga says that the establishment of ANT is one of the major signs of the deteriorating FDC that each day is becoming week.
