Police has revealed that about 45 motorcycles were impounded yesterday from bodaboda riders who lost self control in jubilation over the arrest of Abdullah Kitatta head of bodaboda 2010

Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson Luke Owesigyire informed our reporter at Central Police Station (CPS) Kampala that the motorcycles were impounded from Nansana, old Kampala and Wandegeya among other places within Kampala.

They also arrested 25 motorcyclists who will be arraigned in court over charges of arson and destruction of property.

Yesterday many motorcyclists in different parts of Kampala celebrated the arrest of members of bodaboda 2010 and their leader Abdullah kitatta whom they pin of mistreating them.

Meanwhile, Owoyesigyire has revealed that the heavy deployment of police officers in the city is that they expected motorcyclists to continue with their plan of destroying offices of bodaboda 2010 like they did yesterday.

Today police has been heavily deployed around city square, Kibuye round about, clock tower, Namirembe road among other areas.
