Mulago National Referral Hospital has released the names of causalities including the police officers from the three bomb explosions in Kampala city.
Some of the injured police officers include Richard Ogwal, Fred Katongole, Dennis Bibaluma, Bernard Wabwire, Steven Osma, Masu Adyero, Fred Sentongo, Brian Ogyera, John Bosco Otai, Mino Sebunya, Phionah Nakasero, Allan Ayebare, Peter Eyotre, Robert Mukisa and Andrew Kissa.
Dr. Rosemary Byanyima, the Deputy Director of Mulago Hospital has said that they are working hard to save the lives of the injured including the police officers.
Dr. Byanyiima says that the hospital has the most qualified staff which is positively responding to the emergencies.
Reports indicate that the casualty ward was full with some of the injured sharing beds while those who got minor injuries were seated on chairs as they were being treated.
Police confirmed a total of 33 people to have been injured in the three blasts which left at least six dead including police officers and bodaboda riders after the attack at Central Police Station –CPS Kampala Check point and Raja Chambers building along parliamentary avenue.
