Entebbe stage taxi drivers have vowed not to leave their stages in the old taxi part following new traffic flow guidelines issued by KCCA.

The Agt. Executive Director KCCA Eng. Anderew Kitaka announced that come Friday October 25th 2019 the city will experience diversions that will see motorists redirected to diverse routes in the interest of decongesting the city and have smooth traffic flow.

Under the new traffic changes, taxis plying Entebbe Road have been relocated from Old Taxi Park to Usafi Park serving travelers to Kajjansi, Zana, Namasuba, Kasenyi, Ndeeba-Sembuule, Kibuye and Ndejje and all taxis  that have been parking along Ben Kiwanuka and Burton streets were  suspended.

Richard Kiyaga the chairman of Entebbe stage in Old Taxi Park told the media today that the new plan is in bad faith aimed at sabotaging government programs vowing never to relocate to the new place.

Meanwhile drivers have also condemned KCCA for coming up with such orders without consulting them.
