The Uganda People’s Defense Forces-UPDF have so far completed 89 projects out of the 149 that were handed to them by various institutions.
Among the completed projects include rehabilitation of Kawolo Hospital and Gombe Hospital, construction of Kasanda Maternity Ward and Theatre, expanding Entebbe International Airport plus the Entebbe Hospital among other projects.
Other ongoing projects yet to be completed include rehabilitation of Namboole stadium and Kololo Senior Secondary School among others.
This has been disclosed by the Chief Defense Forces, Gen. Wilson Mbasu Mbadi at the Uganda media centre ahead of the 43rd Tarehe Sita anniversary celebrations that will be held on 6th February at Busesa-Bugweri district headquarters under the theme; “Celebrating the People’s Struggle for Unity ,Security and Peace for Social Economic Transformation”.
Gen. Mbadi re-emphasized professional performance as the UPDF void of sectarian tendencies and corruption.
