The Uganda People’s Congress (UPC) party has mocked the idea of the formation of political alliances with the aim of taking power that it has never yielded anything in this country.
This follows the formation of another alliance yesterday called “Holy Alliance” made up of Conservative Party (CP) National Economic Empowerment Dialogue (NEED), JEEMA, and DP Bloc which UPC says it’s a waste of time because such alliances are formed just to serve the interests of a few individuals.
Muzeyi reminded that there was the Democratic alliance (TDA), Peoples front for Transition (PFT), United Forces of Change (UFC) among others but they lived to bear nothing in as far as changing political power is concerned in this country.
He therefore emphasized that UPC will never join any political alliances because as a party, they have an ideology to follow and that founders of those alliances have never approached them.
Muzeyi says that all alliances are a waste of time with no ideologies to follow
