Ugandans living in China have been advised to register with the Uganda’s consulates.

This has been revealed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sam Kutesa who said that this was agreed in a meeting with the Ambassador of China in Uganda.

He says by registering, it will help to identify and also grant assistance to Ugandans in China.

Kutesa says they also agreed that Ugandans whose visas had expired be extended and also china’s government foot the accommodation bills of Ugandans.

This followed viral videos on social media that exposed Chine’s harassing, evicting blacks from places of residential and hotel.

It was also agreed that Ugandans exposed to convid-19 be given medication and assistance needed and he appealed to Ugandans to stay charm until the pandemic is sorted.
