Dr. Mohammed Bawule Kasasa who is accused of fraudulent acquisition of the Buganda Kingdom royals Land wants Prince Wasajja to publicly apologize to him for what he calls damaging allegations that he made against him.
The disputed Land is of Mutungo Hill in Nakawa Division, measuring up 640 acres.
The Buganda Kingdom highest royal Prince David Kintu Wasajja had yesterday pinned Dr. Kasasa before the Land Probe Commission for having fraudulently acquired their father Sir Edward Mutesa’s Land and later sold it for upcoming government projects including the standard gauge rail at 9.4 billion, describing his Title as fake.
Appearing before the same Commission today, the 87 year old Kasasa dismissed accusations, saying he had acquired the property from the defunct Uganda Commercial Bank (UCB) on auction after its previous Owner Lake View Property firm failed to pay their mortgage.
Kasasa explained he has owned the property for the last 40 years, saying by the Prince calling his Title fake it was damaging allegation which he should publicly apologize for.
However, Kasasa could not avail the sales agreement for his purchased property when tasked by the Commission’s lawyer Ebert Byenkya to table its documentary evidence.
