The Leader of Opposition in Parliament Joel Ssenyonyi has called on the European Union to add their voice to that of other Ugandans who are being oppressed by the National Resistance Movement (NRM) regime.

Ssenyonyi made the plea as he hosted 11 ambassadors from the European Union as they deliberated on matters of national importance.

He asked them to engage government in the condemnation of corruption, injustices, torture, and poor service delivery.

LOP Ssenyonyi noted that the EU injects close to 896m dollars equivalent to 4 Trillion Shs in 115 projects but the money ends up being swindled by government officials.

He says that all voices are raised against the bad governance by the government; Ugandans will have a better country.
