Public Service Commission newly appointed members swear-in

The newly appointed Members of the Public Service Commission have taken oath of service at the High Court in Kampala.

In June this year President Yoweri Museveni appointed nine members to the Commission headed by Winnie Agnes Kabogoza Musoke, vetted in Parliament and on Tuesday, they were sworn in before the Chief Justice Alfonse Owiny Dollo.

Winnie Agnes Kabogoza Musoke the chairperson of Public service commission will be deputized by Francis Oryang Lagony.

Other appointed members of the commission included Hajjat Jamilah Kamulegeya, Micheal Mugisa, Benigna Mukibi, Titus Kisambira Mutanda, Emmanuel Olaunah Ourum, Adah Kabarokole Muwanga and Grace Tomita.

In his speech, the Chief Justice, Alfonso Owiny Odolo challenged the appointed members against corruption, tribalism, negligence and unprofessional performance.

Meanwhile, the State Minister for Public Service Wilson Mukasa Mululi has appreciated the outgoing commissioners for their diligent services offered for the last 8years.
