The parliamentary forum on constitutional supremacy is demanding for an apology from the speaker of parliament Rebecca Kadaga for inviting strangers in parliament last week.

According to Aswa County MP Reagan Okumu ,Kadagas directive and acceptance of Special Forces Commandos in parliament to brutalize the 25 MPs who had been suspended over their conduct aimed at blocking the official process of starting the move to seek for amendment of article 102b of the presidential age limit.

Okumu says their forum reviewed all footages from the parliamentary CCTV system and found out that the move to attack parliament was planned much earlier by the Prime Minister Ruhakana Ruhunda and IGP Gen Kale Kayihura and Rt. Hon. Kadaga.

He further calls upon the Inter Parliamentary Union IPU to investigate the matters in which Ugandan parliament violated the rights and privileges of the legislators adding that all Ugandans arrested in the anti presidential age demos be unconditionally released.
