The letter seen dated October 19th, 2022, signed by Kenneth Kaliba, the Fort Portal Central Division NRM Chief Whip, Kenneth Mugabi 44, the Councilor for Kagote Ward is battling kidney complications and needs Sh200 million for a kidney transplant in India.

Another councilor is Bernard Ategeka of Kijanju Ward in Fort Portal Central Division needs Sh65m for a hip replacement at Kumi Orthopedic Hospital.

Now Kaliba says that they reached out to the NRM Secretariat seeking for help but they were not helped which has made them seek for other avenues of raising the funds to help their ailing colleagues.
