The Leader of Opposition Matias Mpuuga has warned the Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja to avoid excitement as she executes her duties.

This is after a directive allegedly issued by Nabanja this week stopping the Mpuuga from accessing public hospitals during his oversight visits in different parts of the country.

During the past two weeks Mpuuga has visited public health centers in areas of Kayunga, Entebbe, Buvuma and found out that they were in bad state, lack medicines and face shortage of medical workers among other challenges.

Mpuuga says these are big challenges hampering development of the local person which Nabanja should concentrate on

Mpuuga has also revealed that the issue of settling pay for the medical interns has been infiltrated by scrupulous people within the Ministry of Health.

He says during his oversight visit he has established that the list of medical interns has been filled with ghosts who some officers want to “pay” yet the money is taken by themselves or relatives.

Mpuuga says he is ready to report this allegation once parliament resumes next week.
