KCCA cautions traders over air pollution

The Business community mostly in industrial sector is warned over air pollution in Kampala.

 The Deputy Executive Director(ED) of Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Sam Sserumkuuma in his remarks while opening a day workshop on Kampala industrial sector Air Quality noted that industries are leading in air pollution in Kampala, leading to spread of disease.

Sserunkuma adds that if air pollution is not handled carefully Kampala and surrounding areas will be at risk of losing fresh air challenging all leaders to embrace tree planning and control on their pollution.

The workshop has been sponsored by the United Nations (UN) to help in raising awareness about air pollution in Kampala.
