A section of Members of Parliament have accepted to be vaccinated of covid-19 starting on Thursday this week amidst some doubts of the vaccine among a bigger number of MPs.

This follows the speaker’s directive on Tuesday that all MPs and staff of parliament be vaccinated as a measure of preventing further spread of covid-19.

Speaking to some of the MPs who included; Justine Khainza of Bududa woman representative, Kiwanuka Keefa of Kinoga East and Rose Mutonyi of Bubulo West, they accept to be vaccinated because they need to be allay fears and instill confidence among Ugandans that the vaccine has no harm on one’s health.

However, Keefa and Mutoni say though they will be vaccinated, they are still skeptical whether vaccinated people become free from Covid-19 contraction or they remain exposed to the pandemic.
