The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) party has warned all people intending to disrupt their Delegates Conference slated for Friday to drop the plans.

The party intends to hold its Delegates Conference at Lugogo in Nakawa division on October 6th, 2023 to elect new party leaders where over 1,400 delegates are scheduled to participate in the elections.

Speaking to the journalists at the FDC headquarters Najjanankumbi earlier on Thursday, John Kikonyogo, the party’s Deputy Spokesperson said that everything is set for the conference and the program will start at 8am because most of the delegates have been cleared.

Kikonyogo says those intending to disrupt them should stay warned because they are prepared for them and assured those who are going to attend the conference that they have tightened the security to enable them concluded their meeting peacefully.

Meanwhile, the elected FDC Chairperson for Wakiso District, Apollo Kantinti has laughed at their colleagues of the FDC Katonga faction who have been talking bad about the party that they have been proved wrong according to the huge numbers of people who have confirmed their attendance for tomorrow’s meeting.

Meanwhile, the delegates who have gathered at Najjanankumbi to pick accreditation cards say are very happy and ready to attend the meeting to sort out their party’s future.
