Workers Mp Sam Lyomoki has vowed to his demonstration of camping at parliament day and night in protest, demanding for the amendment of NSSF Act.

A week ago Lyomoki announced to carry out a peaceful demonstration at parliament that started yesterday by sleeping at parliament after President Yoweri Museveni rejected the close in the act allowing employees to access part of their savings.

One of the most crucial demands that workers MP demands in the NSSF amendment Act is to allow mid-term access of savings by workers to a tune of 20%, and allow those who have saved for 10 years and clocked 45 years of age.

However Lyomoki says he was disappointed by the government yesterday for failing to appear in plenary to cause the amendment in the NSSF act when read and later speaker of parliament Rebecca Kadaga deferred the matter until parliament resumes.

He says no matter what comes on his way, he will continue pursuing the matter and also resume camping at parliament when called from recess until workers are allowed to access part of their savings in NSSF.
