DPP Abodo visits recently attacked Resident State Attorney

The Director of Public Prosecutions, Jane Frances Abodo has visited the Office of the Resident State Attorney (RSA)-Hoima which was broken into in the wee hours of Thursday 29th December 2022.

The thugs, who gained access into the RSA’s office through the window, collected most of the police files, computers and other materials and set them ablaze in the RCSA’s office.

In her visit, the DPP convened and chaired a Stakeholders meeting which was attended by the Regional Officer- Masindi Asst. DPP Florence Akello, the Accounting Officer/ Undersecretary Ms. Agnes Kainza and the top security chiefs in Hoima like the Resident City Commissioner, Resident District Commissioner, Regional CID at the Albertine region and the OC-CID of Hoima Central Police Station among others.

In this meeting it was resolved that the Resident Chief State Attorney of Hoima Ms. Rachel Namazzi be recalled from leave to resume her duties with immediate effect.
