The Business Community in Kampala has extended condolences to the Democratic Party, Family and all Ugandans over the demise of their Member John Ssebaana Kizito .

While paying tribute at the deceased’s home in Kasanga, the chairman Kampala City Traders Association (KACITA) Everest Kayondo says that Ssebaana was a person who loved business and encouraged Ugandans to involve in trading leading to the development of local traders and growth of Kampala city.

One of the Mamba clan leaders Lawrence Kyoloobi says the clan has lost a big pillar of development.

Earlier on at City House in Kampala, the Democratic Party (DP) through its publicist Kenneth Paul Kakande vowed to spearhead the plans of their former president more so the need for DP to take power and transform this country.

Kakande said that Ssebaana has not only been planning for the party but equally concerned about the country’s democratic route which needs patriotic and citizens who uphold democracy and conational order as leaders.

Government agreed to accord a state burial to former opposition Democratic Party President John Ssebaana Kizito owing to his contributions toward the country’s development.

His body is expected be taken from the funeral home in Bukoto on Thursday to the KCCA Council from 8am-10 then it will be taken to lay in the lobby at parliament and thereafter before the plenary from 11am to 5pm. In the evening there will be a night vigil at the deceased home in Kansanga

On Friday from 8am-10am, there will be a memorial mass led by the Archbishop of Kampala Dr Cyprian Kizito Lwanga at Statewide Insurance Company at sure house, and a memorial service from 11am -4pm at Namirembe cathedral after which the cortege will proceed to Mpande ; Kalule Luweero District where it will be buried on Saturday at 2;00pm.
