Bunyoro Kitara kingdom has joined the rest of the country to mourn the death of the former Speaker of Parliament Jacob L’Okori Oulanya
The Prime Minister of Bunyoro Kingdom Andrew Byakutaga Ateenyi while signing in the condolence book on behalf of Bunyoro Kingdom condoled with the people of Acholi and Uganda over such a loss.
Byakutaga hailed the late as tolerant, peace loving person and asked leaders to emulate such attributes.
The kingdom also described him as one of those few high profile persons who loved and promoted his culture challenging leaders never to mistake career and culture as abominable.
The body of late Oulanya is expected in the country on Friday April 1st and burial will be next week Friday April 8th at Larogi in Omoro district Northern Uganda.
